I've been hooked on creepy things forever. Horror movies, haunted houses, theatre productions with severed heads, all right up my alley. After doing quite a number of theatrical productions that required severed limbs and gallons of fake blood I've decided that maybe something in the universe is telling me that this is my branch of props.
I graduated with a BA in Technical Theater from Salem State College (it's a University now, but my diploma still says SSC on it). While living in the city of Salem,Ma I worked for a few haunted attractions and I had the best time of my life ever! My theater background allowed me to look past all the fog and lights and see how things were made and how the scene was set to scare the pants off the customers.
After that I fell into a routine of being asked by friends to work on shows that needed some type of bloody messy thing or they would call me to ask if they could borrow a severed leg or arm. Then Evil Dead: The Musical came into my life and things wold never be the same. I'm still cleaning blood off things I used for that show, but I loved every minute of it!
